The Author
Robert Scott Wells
Writes to entertain, to provoke, and—every once in a while—to change the way you see things.
Robert Scott Wells lives in the scenic countryside of Kildare, Prince Edward Island, Canada, with his wife and their lively pack of dogs. A lifelong explorer of both landscapes and ideas, he has traveled extensively across Canada and worked across a wide range of fields, gathering stories and experiences that continue to enrich his writing.
In 1998, Wells journeyed to Japan to teach English and study martial arts — an adventure that deepened his fascination with culture, philosophy, and human nature. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from UPEI in 1999.
A storyteller at heart, Wells loves making people laugh as much as he loves making them think. His curiosity ranges from wool socks to religion to the far reaches of space — and pretty much everything in between. Passionate about nature, fantasy, science fiction, and ancient history, he draws on all of it to fuel his storytelling.
His writing boldly challenges societal norms and questions moral conventions, inviting readers to rethink ideas about relationships, society, patriarchy, and more. Whether delving into epic adventures or deeply personal themes, he aims to open minds and offer fresh perspectives. Writes to entertain, to provoke, and—every once in a while—to change the way you see things.
The ordinary world is hiding something extraordinary just beneath the surface. My job is to find the crack and pull it open.
